CFL Donation Program

Operation SWITCH promotes the use of ENERGY STAR-qualified compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) by donating CFLs throughout communities.  At donation events, Operation SWITCH personnel donate energy efficient CFLs to residential customers and educate customers about the benefits of CFLs as well as recycling/disposal options.  Our personnel also help promote and market other residential energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and in doing so, drive increased participation in residential programs for the realization of utility and state/local government client goals.
